While earning my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at The Family Institute at Northwestern University, I learned how to help couples, individuals, families, and adolescents gain insight into the patterns they were finding themselves “stuck” in and then get unstuck.

At Relationship Works, I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help you make changes in the relational patterns that are no longer working for you. Feeling disconnected from your loved ones can be a scary and stressful time. EFT provides unique insight into the emotional process each one of you is going through that leads to feelings of disconnection. I can help you find solutions to strengthen and enhance your intimacy and relational connection.

As humans, we are all having experiences for the first time and navigating life as we go, whether that be parenting, getting connected/reconnected to a new or long-term partner, discovering ourselves and our values, setting boundaries, processing traumas and grief, or trying to reduce anxieties and find presence in your daily life. I am committed to aiding you through the experiences and relationships that make up your life in order to help you meet your goals.

As much as my training and experiences inform my work, my spirituality and faith play an equally integral role. If clients are exploring, grounded in, or finding their way back to faith, I will work to create a space that feels safe to discuss and explore. At the same time, discussing faith is the sole choice of the client, and at no time will it be forced or pressed. Creating a judgement-free space and honoring your desires for the brave work you are doing will always be my first and foremost goal for our time together.
